We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Strategic Supply Chain Manager to join our team at 2000 SPTS Technologies Limited. This is an exciting opportunity to drive growth and success in our UK supply chain, working closely with our global teams to deliver strategic procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Initiate, develop, and lead new supplier relationships to develop supply chain capacity and capability.
  • Oversee the first article procurement process, from identifying potential suppliers to leading the initial part delivery and production ramp.
  • Collaborate closely with the operational purchasing function to understand their procurement needs and provide solutions.
  • Drive part cost down annually, without compromising quality or delivery, to grow Gross Margin.
  • Monitor market trends and perform analysis to make informed procurement decisions.
  • Ensure supply chain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a Senior strategic procurement role with management of people in a technical engineering context.
  • Evidence of strong negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent understanding of procurement processes and market dynamics.
