Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team at Yolk Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing high-volume contracts, providing procurement partner support, and negotiating contractual agreements with strategic providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve compliance across various business areas.
  • Manage a range of frameworks and contracts, including maintenance and repairs, to ensure added value, savings, and quality of supply.
  • Provide expert procurement partner support to designated business areas, identifying and implementing strategies to manage and mitigate risks and contractual risks.
  • Negotiate contractual agreements with strategic providers to ensure total cost management and surety of supply.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable track record of managing high-volume contracts in a fast-paced environment, ideally in front-line procurement such as maintenance contracts.
  • Experience in supporting and working with various stakeholders, including senior stakeholders and business areas.
  • Experience of contract dispute resolution and negotiation.
  • Exposure to working in procurement across the public sector is desirable.
