About Operations
The Operations Department at Vantage Data Centers is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers. This includes managing the health of mechanical and electrical systems, carrying out building maintenance, and coordinating projects that affect the operational data center.
About Procurement
The Procurement Team at Vantage Data Centers is responsible for sourcing and managing the procurement of goods and services for our operations. We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our team and support our operations in EMEA.
Position Overview
The Senior Manager will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies for our operations in EMEA. This will include assessing business needs, developing effective procurement strategies, and managing supplier relationships. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices, as well as excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for operations in EMEA
- Assess business needs and develop effective procurement strategies
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
- Monitor and report on procurement performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clarity of requirements and manage change
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or equivalent
- 8+ years of relevant supply chain experience in data center or complex infrastructure construction
- Experience with developing and executing procurement strategies across multiple regions
- Strong inter-personal skills with excellent stakeholder management
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of procurement, commercial, and negotiating techniques
