Job Title: Surgical Care Coordinator

About the Job:

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Surgical Care Coordinator to join our team in Caterham. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of patient care are met during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating patient care during surgical procedures, including preparing patients for theatre, monitoring their progress, and ensuring their safe transfer back to the ward.
  • Working closely with the theatre team to ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in good working order.
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
  • Previous experience in a theatre environment, preferably within orthopaedics.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
