Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator to join our team at Endeavour Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, support, and administration of Microsoft SQL database environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the high availability and performance of Microsoft SQL database environments.
- Implement and manage database security practices.
- Develop and maintain database documentation.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure database configurations meet business requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a SQL centric role (SQL Server 2005 onwards).
- Experience using SQL Server Availability Groups, Log Shipping, or Database Mirroring.
- Strong knowledge of database configuration and management.
- Competent with Windows operating system and high-level server/storage infrastructure.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience using SSAS, SSRS, SSIS.
- Writing PowerShell scripts.
- Administering a Data Warehouse.
