About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Evening Team Leader. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our volunteers who provide critical services to children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to volunteers working on Childline, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to deliver exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement strategies that promote volunteer engagement and retention.
  • Contribute to the development of training programs and materials that enhance volunteer skills and knowledge.
  • Work closely with the safeguarding team to ensure that all volunteers are aware of and adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working with volunteers in a safeguarding or charitable context.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
