Responsibilities:

  • Establish trusting relationships with children to enable their growth and development.
  • Organise and participate in activities to nurture their wellbeing, learning, and growth.
  • Support children to achieve their educational potential by working directly with them and other professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure the health and safety of children.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children, identifying and reporting any risk of harm or child protection concerns.

Qualifications:

  • At least 6 months of experience in children's residential care.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care (or equivalent) - preferred but not essential.

Pay and Benefits:

  • £12.82/hour, £60 sleep rate.
  • Expected annual salary: up to £29,000.

Work Schedule:

Full-time, permanent. 1 on, 2 off shift pattern (average 10 shifts/month) / 2 on, 4 off shift pattern (average 5 shifts/month).
