About the Role

This Child Development Specialist position is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people with special educational needs. As part of our SENDSTART team, you will work closely with families, schools, and service providers to develop high-quality Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Your expertise and communication skills will enable you to effectively engage with families, record their views, and ensure accurate representation in the assessment and annual review process.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have experience working with children or young people with special educational needs and disabilities, as well as strong leadership skills, particularly in multiagency meetings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for this role.

Salary and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary of £32,000 - £37,000 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including a pension scheme, life cover, and flexible working arrangements.
