Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We are seeking a Special Educational Needs Teaching Associate to join our team at a school in central Manchester.

This Special Educational Needs Teaching Associate role will involve providing support for pupils in the early years classes who are demonstrating traits or have a diagnosis of autism.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to deliver lessons and support pupil progress and wellbeing.

About the Role:

  • Classroom support, assisting the teacher in delivering lessons

About You:

  • Experience working with SEN
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Patience and adaptability

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience. All applicants must have the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see our website for details.

In addition to the salary, we offer free child protection and prevent duty training to all our registered candidates. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'.
