Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced High-Level Pressure Equipment Inspector to join our team at Bureau Technical Services.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Inspector to work with a range of clients, assessing and recommending the condition of pressure equipment, pipework, storage tanks, and other process equipment. As a key interface with clients, you will provide expert advice on remedial work, repairs, maintenance, or modifications required.

You will be responsible for acting as a focal point on client sites, ensuring effective client management, issue resolution, and creation of Written Schemes of Examination (WSE). You will also write, sign, and issue Inspection Reports, Supplementary Inspection Reports, Imminent Failure/Danger Notification Forms, and Movement Reports.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 8 years' experience working within Inspection, qualified to relevant Inspection body standards, such as API and/or EEMUA. You will have experience working to U.K. Legislation and carrying out tasks accordingly. A Higher Level qualification is desirable, as is experience working in the Inspection field on a Petrochemical site or a Plant Engineering role.

You will have proven experience of Inspection within key disciplines, such as Piping, Pressure Vessels, Tanks, and Relief Systems. Experience working on a variety of jobs while unsupervised and confident in error-free report writing is essential. You will also have experience specifying Inspection intervals in accordance with approved codes and current Written Schemes of Examination.

Competencies:

The ideal candidate will possess competencies in API-570 Piping Inspection, API-510 Pressure Vessel Inspection, API-653/EEMUA 159 Tank Inspection. Desirable competencies include API-580 Risk Based Analysis and PCN Level 2 for Ultrasonic Testing, Eddy Current Testing, and CSWIP 3.0/3.1. You will also require knowledge of PSSR and associated legislation and hold a valid, full UK Driving Licence.

What We Offer:
