We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Inspector to join our team at Bureau Technical Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections of various equipment, including pressure vessels, pipework, and storage tanks.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about ensuring the safety and integrity of complex systems. As an Inspector, you will work closely with clients to identify potential issues and provide recommendations for remedial action.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience working in inspection, with a strong background in relevant standards and codes. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes
  • Develop and implement Written Schemes of Examination (WSE) for clients
  • Prepare and issue Inspection Reports, Supplementary Inspection Reports, Imminent Failure/Danger Notification Forms, and Movement Reports
  • Provide expert advice to clients on the condition of inspected equipment and recommended courses of action
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and reporting activities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or physics
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in inspection, with a strong background in relevant standards and codes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
