Job Title: Principal Pressure Conformity Inspector

At Bureau Veritas, we are looking for skilled and dedicated professionals to join our Energy and Engineering team. As a Principal Pressure Conformity Inspector, you will play a key role in providing technical support and expertise to our clients in the UK Industry markets, particularly in the Nuclear, Oil & Gas, and Renewables sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to the PED Technical Manager and deputise as necessary
• Conduct competency audits to ensure that Inspectors maintain the skills and competencies required
• Perform inspection and verification activities to a high standard in line with procedures, regulations, standards, and client requirements
• Develop technical procedures, standards, and technical guidance to provide innovative solutions to in-service inspection processes
• Coach and mentor the PED Inspector team

Requirements:

• High level of experience and knowledge of manufacture and inspection of Pressure Equipment
• Knowledge of welding and NDT techniques
• Knowledge of Pressure Equipment Regulations
• Mechanical Engineering Background
• Ability to acquire new skills/knowledge

Qualifications:

• HNC in Mechanical Engineering Discipline or equivalent
• Minimum of 100 SAFed points against SS01
• CEng status or equivalent
