Job Title: Lifting Equipment Inspector

 

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lifting Equipment Inspector to join our team at First Recruitment Group. As a Commercial Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting inspections on lifting equipment to ensure regulatory compliance.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of MEWPS, HIABs, cranes, and FLTs to guarantee adherence to safety regulations.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive inspection reports using advanced tools.
  • Advise clients on industry standards and provide guidance on regulatory changes.
  • Maintain high health and safety standards during all inspections.

 

Requirements:

  • NVQ4, City & Guilds Level 4, HNC, HND, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering is essential.
  • LEEA qualifications are preferred with relevant mechanical engineering experience.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the field is required.
  • A clean UK driving license is necessary.

 

Working Conditions:

This role involves home-based work with local daily travel to client sites.

 

Salary Range: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
