About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Policy and Evidence Lead to join our team at the MS Society UK. As a key member of our policy and research team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our policy and evidence work to improve the lives of people affected by MS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of our policy and evidence strategy
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Policy and Evidence team
  • Act as a senior spokesperson for our policy and evidence work, representing the MS Society at external meetings and events
  • Champion the role of impactful evidence-based decision making across the organisation
  • Support the development of issue-based influencing campaigns

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of securing policy change across a broad range of issues
  • Experience of influencing policy makers at a UK or national level
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
