About the Role: The successful candidate will work within our Crisis Assessment Unit, Street Triage, and the 136 Suite. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a flagship service providing community street triage assessments following referrals from emergency services and supporting individuals at the Becklin Centre. You will be available for a 7-day-a-week rota working over 24 hours (long days, twilights, and nights) and require triage and assessment skills to communicate with individuals who might otherwise be transferred to the Emergency Department or detained under Section 136.

The ideal candidate will have relevant core professional nursing qualification (RMN/RNLD), experience in working with adults with acute mental illness, and excellent clinical risk assessment and risk management experience. Additionally, you should have knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act. A driving license or access to a car is also required. We offer a salary of £43,041 per annum, plus benefits including employee wellbeing support, coaching, and opportunities for career development and education support.
