About the Role

Cygnet Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Oldbury. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of nurses and support workers to ensure effective care delivery and allocation of tasks.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and improve the service, ensuring compliance with NMC guidelines and best practices.
  • Attend training and engage in continuous professional development to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Conduct appraisals, audits, interviews, and supervisions to support staff growth and development.
  • Develop and maintain individual care plans in collaboration with patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals.
  • Coordinate, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care programs to promote recovery and reduce risk.
  • Stay up-to-date with the Mental Health Act 1983 and latest nursing practices.
  • Foster a culture of patient empowerment and independence, promoting a supportive and inclusive environment.
