Cygnet Health Care is seeking a confident Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Oldbury. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding care to our patients and contributing to the development of our service.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of nurses and support workers to ensure effective care delivery and allocation of tasks.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and improve the service, including auditing and quality assurance.
  • Participate in training and continuing professional development to enhance knowledge and promote nursing excellence.
  • Conduct appraisals, audits, interviews, and supervisions to support team members and ensure high-quality care.
  • Ensure individual care plans are complete and maintained in accordance with NMC guidelines, involving residents, relatives, and healthcare professionals.
  • Coordinate, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care programs.
  • Stay informed about the Mental Health Act 1983 and maintain knowledge of latest nursing practices.
  • Focus on patient recovery, monitoring, managing, and reducing risk.
  • Support staff empowerment and promote service user independence.
