Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrator to join our Respiratory team, working alongside our existing admin and clinical team to support the delivery of care to patients with Respiratory conditions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Administration of referral management processes into our services
  • Administration of pathways from assessment to discharge for our services
  • Uploading documents to EMIS
  • Inputting into clinical systems EMIS
  • Managing diaries and appointment systems
  • Advising service users on the services offered, supporting patient choice through information and basic motivational interviewing skills
  • Dealing with telephone enquiries from Service Users, carers and staff from other agencies who may be distressed or have communication difficulties
  • Providing support for senior administrators and other administrators within the department
  • To be able to use the relevant computer systems, to input and retrieve service user information
  • Take minutes and type formal minutes from given, audio or copy
  • Production of resources and letters
  • Data input and maintaining spreadsheets
