Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Café Manager to lead the team at our vibrant on-site café, The Hive. As a champion for great customer experience and inclusion, you will encourage the people we support to take an active role in the running of the café while embracing opportunities to engage members of the community.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Plan, coordinate, and deliver all operational and managerial café duties, ensuring a great customer experience and compliance with food standards requirements.
  2. Co-ordinate sessions and activities that promote social inclusion, sustainability, and community engagement.
  3. Work closely with the café team to develop and implement strategies to drive forward the café's services and operations.
  4. Ensure the smooth day-to-day delivery of the café, including managing budgets, reporting, and financial procedures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a similar café management role, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and operational management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with staff, customers, and stakeholders.
