Job Description

Cogentuk is a leading employer in the agricultural sector, and we are seeking a skilled Livestock Improvement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our reproductive service, you will play a crucial role in helping dairy farmers achieve their reproductive objectives.

Your primary responsibility will be to deliver a high-quality reproduction and breeding service, utilizing expert knowledge of animal husbandry and heat monitoring systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilise chalk and electronic heat and health monitoring systems to identify cows in heat
  • Build effective relationships with customers and take responsibility for their fertility data and herd reports
  • Develop the Precision service to meet customers' reproductive objectives
Requirements:
  • Dairy experience and good knowledge of animal husbandry
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Professional and friendly attitude with excellent communication and rapport building skills
  • Can-do attitude and proven team player

The estimated salary for this position is £42,000 - £52,000 per annum, depending on experience.
