We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Mental Health Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team at St Elizabeth`s Centre. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support to children and young people.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a qualified mental health professional to work with our School and Children`s Services department. As a Clinical Mental Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing and intervening in mental health issues affecting children and young people.
Key Responsibilities- Mental Health Assessments: Provide comprehensive assessments of children and young people's mental health needs, identifying areas for intervention and developing effective care plans.
- Collaborative Working: Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Support and Education: Offer emotional support and education to children and young people, empowering them to manage their mental health and well-being.
- Family Involvement: Engage with families and caregivers to provide education and support, promoting a collaborative approach to mental health care.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and development initiatives to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with best practices in child and adolescent mental health.
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working with children and young people in a mental health setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Estimated salary: £42,000 - £56,000 per annum.
