About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bid Manager to join our team at Galliford Try. As a key member of our pre-construction team, you will be responsible for leading the creation of innovative and effective responses to tender document submissions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of bespoke "win strategies" and manage all aspects of the "end to end" bidding process.
  • Support and manage our team of bid writers and bid co-ordinators.
  • Ensure that the Bid team adheres to defined governance and bid management processes.
  • Contribute to the wider bid team at key stages of individual tender opportunities.
  • Identify winning bid themes, strategies, and actions.
  • Implement our Delivering Excellence culture change programme through the Bid process.
  • Lead tender launch and finalisation meetings.
  • Support the development and writing of high-quality winning quality deliverables.
  • Manage the submission process to ensure all deliverables are produced and successfully issued.
  • Liaise with "subject matter" experts to develop focussed and bespoke responses.
  • Build and develop effective relationships throughout the business and with partners.

  • IT Literacy including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and InDesign.
