Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Construction Manager. As a key member of our project team, you will assist with the daily management of the site, focusing on delivering a quality service and product to our clients in line with the project goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the coordination of site activities, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Work closely with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the project.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring that they are aligned with the project goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Health and Safety Manager to ensure that all site activities are conducted in a safe and healthy manner.
  • Develop and maintain a daily diary of site activities, including any issues or concerns that arise.
  • Work closely with the Senior Construction Manager and Technical Services Manager to ensure that all project activities are aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
The Apprentice Programme

Our five-year apprenticeship programme provides a comprehensive training and development programme, designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in a construction management role. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, gaining hands-on experience and developing your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Candidate Profile and Entry Criteria

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong academic background and a passion for construction management. You will have a minimum of 104 UCAS points from your A-Levels or a relevant BTEC, and a strong understanding of construction principles and practices.
