Assistant Shop Manager, part time: Harrogate

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Shop Manager to join our team in Harrogate. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the Shop Manager in the day-to-day running of the store, including managing donations, organizing displays and merchandising, coordinating stock deliveries and collections, and maintaining accurate records.
You will also play a crucial role in inspiring and leading a team of volunteers, recruiting, training, and motivating them to ensure they are fully equipped to support our cause.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a retail environment, excellent customer service skills, and a positive, friendly attitude. Strong computer and administrative skills are also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Shop Manager in the day-to-day running of the store
- Manage donations, organize displays and merchandising, and coordinate stock deliveries and collections
- Maintain accurate records and handle cash with care
- Recruit, train, and motivate a team of volunteers
- Provide excellent customer service and a positive, friendly attitude
