Product Development Sourcing Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Sourcing Manager to join our team at Plexus. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between engineering and materials departments.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with Engineers and Project Managers to ensure design projects are completed within designated timeframe and budget.
- Provide strategic guidance and motivation for teams, controlling scope, schedule, and unit price while managing sourcing and procurement for mid-sized to large xDC projects.
- Ensure team metric performance, adherence to existing processes, and responsible for staffing projects for success.
- Support continuous improvement, expand and grow group capabilities by hiring personnel, establishing and achieving group objectives, identifying and supporting training opportunities, developing and maintaining strategic roadmaps for further process development.
- Work collaboratively with business development and project management team to effectively promote and sell Product Development Sourcing services.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business or engineering.
- Experience in custom mechanical or electromechanical components processing is highly desired.
- Demonstrated level of project management success is preferred.
