Flood Risk Management Opportunities

Role Overview:

JBA Consulting is seeking an experienced Flood Risk Management professional to lead our local flood risk management team. As a Flood Risk Management Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering high-profile projects and supporting the management of local flood risk across the UK.

Responsibilities:

* Deliver local flood risk management schemes and studies
* Lead an experienced team in the management of local flood risk
* Support the development of flood risk management strategies and policies
* Collaborate with stakeholders and the community to engage in flood risk management activities
* Develop and implement effective project management plans

Requirements:

* Environmental or physical science-related qualification, degree, or equivalent
* Chartered status (ICE, CIWEM) or desire to work towards becoming chartered
* Effective and proven communication skills
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to work in a team environment and lead a team

Desirable Skills:

* Leadership experience
* Experience of applying local policy and strategy
* Local development and planning
* Property Flood Resilience
* Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
* Risk Assessment
