Flood Risk Management Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Flood Risk Management Team Leader to join our team at JBA Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our local flood risk management team and delivering high-profile projects in the field of flood risk management.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in flood risk management, with experience in leading teams and delivering projects. You will be responsible for shaping our flood risk management services and supporting the delivery of local flood risk-related projects. You will also be expected to lead an experienced team in the Broughton Park office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead our local flood risk management team and deliver high-profile projects
  • Shape our flood risk management services and support the delivery of local flood risk-related projects
  • Lead an experienced team in the Broughton Park office
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members

Requirements:

  • Environmental or physical science-related qualification, degree, or equivalent
  • Chartered status (ICE, CIWEM) or desire to work towards becoming chartered
  • Effective and proven communications skills
  • Ability to work on own or as part of a team
  • Experience of problem-solving and communicating effectively
  • Understanding of local flood risk management activities, including governance and policy

  • Risk Assessment
