Business Development Manager

Our high-precision engineering industry client is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Machine Shop, Production, and Marketing departments to drive business growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to expand existing business and establish new customers in the division.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to drive sales growth.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to track business performance.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record of business development and sales success in a high-precision engineering industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machining and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret CAD/engineering drawings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.

The salary for this role is up to £50k, plus excellent commission, company car, laptop, mobile, and other benefits. Our client is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join their team and drive business growth in the Midlands/Northern England region.
