Location: Richmond VA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months with potential for extension

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance workflows and elevate quality in the design, development, and upkeep of software solutions.
  • Gain insights into operational systems. Engage with business and technical teams to formulate requirements for system enhancements.
  • Convert requirements into technical documentation for use by development teams to implement system changes.
  • Create visual diagrams to illustrate modifications, aiding both technical personnel and executive leadership in comprehending necessary actions.
  • Suggest alternative approaches that weigh cost against benefits, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical capabilities.
  • Facilitate consistent project execution throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor and report on project metrics while ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies.
  • Possess technical expertise in Test Planning, Storyboarding, and Requirements Gathering.
  • Demonstrate experience in requirements gathering, storyboard creation, wireframe development, test planning, and execution.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of Business Analyst experience in IT projects or software/application development.
Essential Skills:
  • Agile Business Analysis; Strong grasp of Scrum principles and methodologies - Required: 5 Years
  • Proficient in Scrum, Agile, Scaled Agile, and Kanban methodologies - Required: 5 Years
  • Technical skills in organizing and managing sprint and product backlogs - Required: 5 Years
  • Experience in translating client and product strategy requirements into application requirements and user stories - Required: 5 Years
  • Ability to analyze and document business and system processes - Required: 3 Years
  • Prior experience as a Business Analyst in Federal/Government IT projects is strongly preferred.
