Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse and Stores Operative to join our team at Global Technical Recruitment Services Ltd. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and provisioning processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Goods-in and Goods-out: Receive and book in goods from suppliers, highlighting any quantity discrepancies immediately.
  • Order Fulfillment: Dispatch customer orders in a timely manner, using handheld terminals to pick and pack, and ensuring the use of appropriate packing materials for safe transportation.
  • Stock Management: Maintain accurate stock numbers for quantity, value, and location, using current company procedures.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Ensure all areas of the warehouse are kept neat and tidy, and that prescribed safety requirements are maintained.
  • Administrative Tasks: File goods-in and dispatch paperwork in a logical and organized manner.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a warehouse environment and using warehouse equipment such as pump trucks and shrink wrapping.
  • Ability to lift and carry boxes of equipment up to approximately 20Kgs each.
  • Basic computer literacy for tasks such as spreadsheets and email.
  • Good communication and time management skills.

Working Hours: 9.00am to 5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch.

Qualifications and Experience: Some experience of working in a warehouse environment and using warehouse equipment, as well as basic computer literacy and good communication and time management skills.
