Job Title: Child Wellbeing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Child Wellbeing Specialist to join our team at the NHS. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering one-to-one short-term therapeutic interventions to children and young people.

Responsibilities:
- Delivering one-to-one short-term therapeutic interventions to primary and secondary school-aged children and young people referred into the cluster.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with school staff and management teams.
- Assessing and determining the need for intervention with children and families referred.
- Holding a caseload of children and young people, conducting assessments, and formulating emotional and mental health needs.
- Collaborating with the School team to identify appropriate practitioners or CAMHS pathways for onward referrals.

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

Requirements:
- A relevant therapeutic qualification (e.g., diploma from a BACP-accredited training) or equivalent HCPC-registered title (e.g., art therapist, arts psychotherapist).
- Further training in working therapeutically with children and young people.
