Job Overview:

Northpoint Wellbeing Ltd is seeking an experienced Child Mental Health Practitioner to join our team as a School Therapist. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with school staff and management teams to provide high-quality therapeutic services to children and young people.

The successful candidate will have excellent assessment and intervention skills, with experience in working with children and families. You will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and external partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering one-to-one short-term therapeutic interventions
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with school staff and management teams
  • Assessing and determining the need for intervention
  • Formulating emotional and mental health needs
  • Providing evidence-based individual interventions
  • Collaborating with other professionals
  • Consulting with school staff and professionals
  • Working across multiple schools in the cluster
