Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Generator Maintenance Engineer to join our team at HSS Hire in Widnes. As a Generator Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our full range of power generation equipment and tools, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are met and maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and maintain power generation equipment and tools
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication and cleaning
- Repair and replace faulty equipment and parts
- Collaborate with the Depot Manager to optimize inventory levels
- Develop and implement effective maintenance procedures
Requirements:
- Experience in maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment
- Familiarity with power tools, diesel generators, and 2/4-stroke petrol engines
- Great communication and teamwork skills
- Awareness of manual handling practices
