Disability Care Specialist

We are looking for a Disability Care Specialist to join our team at Norfolk County Council. As a Disability Care Specialist, you will provide meaningful support to children and young people with disabilities, helping them to develop their emotional and social needs and enhance their independence skills. You will build positive relationships with the individuals you work with and help them reach their full potential.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be highly motivated, resilient, and positive. You will also need to be able to work effectively as part of a team and communicate positively with colleagues, families, and other professionals. Our teams work across the county, providing services in various locations, including Springwood, Foxwood, Marshfields, and the CWD Outreach Team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience within the sector, working collaboratively with families and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people with disabilities. We offer a competitive salary of £10.59 per hour (Grade E), plus sleep in allowances, weekend and bank holiday enhancements.
