We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at the Scottish Qualifications Authority. This exciting opportunity involves working closely with the Principal Verifier to maintain national standards for units within their remit.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in quality assurance models and be able to ensure that all tasks associated with internal assessment verification are carried out within set conditions, timescales, and arrangements.

This is a critical role that requires exceptional communication and leadership skills. The Senior Quality Assurance Manager will work closely with the Principal Verifier to manage team members and deliver external quality assurance for Practical Cake Craft, ensuring national standards are maintained.

One of the key responsibilities of this role is to assist the Principal Verifier in managing team members during verification activity, typically between February and May. The Senior Quality Assurance Manager will also need to undertake duties outside of regular working hours, which may include up to 5 days' release throughout the contract period.

In return for your expertise and dedication, you can expect a competitive salary of £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a responsibility fee and release compensation as required, in addition to a daily rate for duties undertaken outside of working hours.
