Job Description

Zachary Daniels Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist to join their well-established site in Glasgow.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring quality performance with regard to defects, quality costs, and customer returns. This role involves conducting all product and process quality planning, implementing customer requirements conforming to international standards, and monitoring delivery performance.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Quality Planning: Conduct thorough quality planning for products and processes to ensure compliance with customer requirements and international standards.
  2. Delivery Performance: Monitor and analyse delivery performance to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  3. Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis for internal and external product or process non-conformances, reporting on time and keeping customers informed of corrective action plans.
  4. Commercial Interests: Protect the commercial interests of clients by ensuring that customer processes are monitored and analysed regularly.
  5. Customer Data Analysis: Continuously improve customer monthly performance and DPPM targets, analysing and reporting customer data to inform decision-making.
  6. Process Controls: Develop and implement process controls to ensure that process and quality objectives are met, continually improving controls and systems internally and externally.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in quality assurance and quality engineering.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with international standards such as OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
