**Quality Assurance Director Opportunity**

We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Director to join our team at Silven. As a senior member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our site meets the highest standards of quality and food safety.

You will lead a team of quality professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional results. Your expertise in BRC and retail codes of practice will be invaluable in this role, as you work closely with our Technical Manager to drive cultural and behavioral change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the quality team to drive and maintain high standards.
  • Support Technical Manager in driving cultural and behavioral change.
  • Ensure site is audit-ready and compliant with BRC and retail standards.
  • Proactively identify and remedy food safety and quality issues in the factory.

Requirements:

  • Experience of leading a quality team in a chilled/high-care food manufacturing environment.
  • Proactive approach, able to work with autonomy and confidence to challenge as appropriate.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of BRC and retail codes of practice.
  • Team player, comfortable leading and developing people and contributing to the wider technical function.

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum depending on experience.
