About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Disability Assessor to join our team at Maven Consulting Group Ltd. As a Disability Assessor, you will play a vital role in assessing individuals' health conditions and disabilities, providing them with the support they need to access benefits.

What You'll Do:

  • Carry out assessments to understand how an individual's health condition or disability affects their daily life
  • Listen to their experiences, ask questions, and use your insights to produce a factual report
  • Collaborate with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to determine eligibility for benefits

Requirements:

  • NMC-registered nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) or HCPC-qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Occupational Therapist with at least one year of post-registration experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Competent IT and computer skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a digital environment
  • Comfortable working with a range of health conditions, including mental health
