About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fire Risk Prevention Specialist to join our Building Safety team at Together Housing. As a key member of our team, you will conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments on residential and office premises managed by us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough fire risk assessments on residential properties to ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Identify and report any issues or areas for improvement, making recommendations for essential upgrades.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on fire safety matters to stakeholders.
  • Maintain detailed records of fire risk assessments and oversee their implementation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in conducting fire risk assessments and working in a fire safety role is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of fire safety legislation and compliance requirements is mandatory.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to present complex data clearly are required.
  • Excellent time management, self-motivation, and ability to balance a varied workload are necessary.
  • A full, current driving license and flexible approach to working hours are preferred.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality, reliable service is expected.
Benefits
  • An estimated salary range of £38,414 per annum, with annual pay scale increases.
  • 27 days' holiday (rising to 32 over 5 years' service) + bank holidays.
  • Hybrid Working: approximately 60% on-site, 40% remote.
