Manufacturing Laboratory Technician

Zoetis, the world's largest manufacturer and supplier of animal pharmaceuticals, is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Laboratory Technician to join our team in Lincoln, NE. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing tasks in a GMP laboratory setting, involving upstream processes such as large-scale bioreactors, centrifugation, and filtration, as well as downstream processes like chromatography, ultrafiltration, and nanofiltration.
Key Responsibilities- Perform processes and operate equipment required for large-scale monoclonal antibody (mAb) production campaigns.
- Maintain current records in accordance with GMP guidelines involving the production of mAb.
- Collaborate with team members and personnel from other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
- Support large-scale biological production campaigns for GMP by performing aseptic inoculation and growth of mammalian cultures of various sizes, operating bioreactors/fermenters, tangential flow filtration (TFF), centrifugation, chromatography, and ultra-purification processes, cleaning and steam-in-place activities for equipment, and maintaining equipment and problem-solving as needed.
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- BS in Biological sciences or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in large-scale production or laboratory scale preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail required.
- Ability to prioritize work, think critically, and take initiative.
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as work independently with minimal supervision when needed.
