Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our team in Lincoln, NE. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing tasks in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) laboratory setting involving upstream and downstream processes for the production of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform processes and operate equipment required for large-scale mAb production campaigns.
- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot as needed.
- Understand, follow, and accurately complete process documentation to maintain a high level of product quality.
- Understand and follow safety policies.
- Work collaboratively with team members and personnel from other departments.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- BS in Biological sciences or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in large-scale production or laboratory scale preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize work, think critically, and take initiative.
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as work independently with minimal supervision when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant experience in biological production, aseptic manufacturing, or in a regulated environment.
- B.S. in a science-related field.
Physical Position Requirements
Exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, noise, live steam, temperature fluctuations, biohazards, continuous standing and lifting to a maximum of 50 lbs.
