We are seeking a skilled and motivated Secondary Teacher to join our team at Moat House School in Stockport. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education, promoting academic excellence, and fostering positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
About the PositionThis permanent part-time position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our young people. You will be responsible for teaching students with additional needs, aged 14-19, and helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Learning: Deliver engaging lessons in subjects such as Art, History, Health & Social Care, and other areas as required.
- Student Support: Provide individualized support to students with additional needs, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement effective educational strategies, ensuring a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Qualifications: A degree in Education or a related field, with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Experience: Proven experience of teaching students with additional needs, with a strong track record of raising achievement.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and families.
- Competitive Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
