**Job Title:** Education Support Assistant

Salary: £85 - £95 per day

This role is based in Stockport, Greater Manchester, and involves supporting teachers in delivering educational programmes and assisting students in their learning activities. As an Education Support Assistant, you will work with individual students or small groups, helping to reinforce learning concepts, assisting with classroom management, and providing additional support to students with special educational needs.

  • Supporting teachers in planning and delivering lessons
  • Assisting students with their learning tasks
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Providing one-to-one support to students with special needs
  • Assisting with classroom supervision and behaviour management
  • Preparing educational materials and resources
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Recognised Teaching Assistant qualification
  • DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance
  • Previous experience working in a similar role within an educational setting
  • Good understanding of educational practises and principles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • First Aid certification

As an Education Support Assistant, you will be working in a school environment during school hours, following the academic calendar. The role may involve some physical activity and the need to support students with mobility or personal care needs.
