Job Summary:

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for leading a team of sustainability and energy consultants on numerous projects within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of sustainability and energy consultants on various projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement energy-efficient solutions for clients, minimizing environmental impact and ensuring compliance with Part L regulations.
  • Conduct thermal bridging and U-value heat loss calculations to optimize building performance.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff members, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored energy assessments and sustainable solutions.

Requirements:

  • Hold an OCDEA qualification with demonstrable experience delivering Part L SAP assessments.
  • Have strong knowledge of UK planning and building regulations, particularly Part L.
  • Proven experience in a client-facing role, with a track record of mentoring and leading teams in the construction industry.
  • Relevant experience in a consultancy role, delivering sustainability reports and energy assessments within the built environment.
