Role Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Consultant and Support Specialist to provide technical leadership and support to our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT consultancy with advanced knowledge in Shibboleth Identity & Service Provider platforms, FreeRADIUS, or Microsoft NPS.
Key Responsibilities:- Translate complex customer requirements into functional solutions.
- Operate as a lead in technical development and support.
- Administer systems on both Linux and Windows platforms, including applications like Apache HTTPD.
- Manage virtual machines in Azure, AWS, and on-premises systems such as HyperV and VMware.
- Utilize source control tools like Git, GitLab, and GitHub.
- Handle encryption basics, including key and certificate management.
- Apply knowledge of Internet standards and RFCs.
- Use XML or other markup/programming languages.
- Deliver service excellence for all customers.
- Stay motivated to keep abreast of technical advances.
- Learn quickly and commit to continuous professional development.
- Maintain a positive, can-do attitude.
- Establish personal credibility and relationships professionally.
- Work independently without significant oversight.
