About The Role

EKC Group is seeking an exceptional leader to join our Canterbury College senior leadership team as Assistant Principal (Curriculum). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of outstanding education across a range of curriculum areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement innovative curriculum strategies to drive student success and achievement.
  • Lead and manage a team of curriculum staff to deliver excellent teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues to deliver on college strategic priorities and contribute to quality assurance processes.
  • Provide forward-thinking leadership and management to drive curriculum developments and reforms.
  • Work closely with curriculum Heads of Department to deliver outstanding student outcomes and experiences.
About You

We are looking for a senior leader or experienced middle leader with a passion for teaching, learning, and assessment. You will have successfully led curriculum teams and have significant experience of managing exam-based qualifications at Key Stage 4 and 5. You will be able to evidence success in achieving excellent outcomes for students and develop strong working relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
