Assistant SEND-Co Team Member

The Assistant SEND-Co Team Member will play a crucial role in supporting students access to learning and overcoming barriers of learning. This role involves administrative support to the needs of students, providing guidance to colleagues, and developing strategies to improve educational attainment.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities- Supporting the development of and application of EHCPs to meet the needs of students
- Development of strategies/providing guidance to colleagues to support the specific needs of students.
- Use data and other information to inform planning and identify improvement targets
- Analyse current performance of SEND students and devise strategies for improving standards further.
You should have:
- Holds experience working within a learning environment.
- Exceptional understanding of special educational needs and educational settings.
- Supervisory experience.
- Hold exceptional interpersonal skills, to work within a team.
- Able to use initiative to work independently and make decisions.
- Strong administrative skills and able to accurately record data.
The salary for this position is approximately £22,000 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience. Join us and contribute to making a difference in children's education
