SEND Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled SEND Support Assistant to join our team in North Leeds.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to make a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.
About the RoleAs a SEND Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students to access learning and overcome barriers to education. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop strategies and provide guidance to colleagues to meet the specific needs of students.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting the development of EHCPs and ensuring their effective implementation;
- Monitoring student progress and identifying areas for improvement;
- Collaborating with teachers and other staff to develop inclusive learning environments;
- Providing administrative support to ensure accurate record-keeping and data management.

To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with students with special educational needs;
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and families;
