Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fire Engineer to join our team in the Cambridge area, providing commissioning, repair, and maintenance services for fire detection and emergency light systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain existing fire equipment and systems across various fire, emergency light, company, and third-party products.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, management, residents, and carers, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Fire Engineer, with relevant qualifications such as ONC level or equivalent NVQ in electrical or electronic engineering.
  • Knowledge of British standards regarding fire alarm systems (BS5839) and emergency light standards (BS 5266-1 and BS EN 50172/BS 5266-8).
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, along with the ability to keep up with technical and product developments.
