Jagex, a leading international games company, is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Protection Specialist to protect its evergreen game IPs. This role requires a strong background in cloud security operations, specifically with AWS and Azure environments.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for ensuring the security posture of our cloud-based infrastructure, developing and enhancing security controls, and collaborating with engineering teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle.

  • Design and implement robust security controls to safeguard infrastructure, applications, and data.
  • Spearhead the design, implementation, and continuous monitoring of security measures and best practices for AWS and Azure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze security events on cloud platforms (AWS and Azure), ensuring timely detection and response to potential threats.
  • Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps) from inception to deployment.
Requirements:
  • Substantial experience within the cyber security domain, particularly with cloud security operations in federated enterprises.
  • Ability to lead and perform infrastructure threat modeling, security architecture reviews, and provide security recommendations that balance functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Experience with AWS services, containers, orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes), and cloud-native security tools such as AWS Security Hub and Azure Security Center.
Compensation:
  • A salary range of $140,000 - $200,000 per year, based on location and experience.
